NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - With an 80-64 victory over St. Bonaventure on Saturday evening at the A.J. Palumbo Center, the Duquesne women's basketball team clinched the No. 3 seed for the upcoming Atlantic 10 Tournament.
The Dukes are slated to host 14-seed Rhode Island on Tuesday, March 5 at 7 p.m. at the Palumbo Center in a first round matchup.
All six first round games will be played on campus sites before the quarterfinals, semifinals and championship game will be hosted by Duquesne on March 8-10.
The Dukes topped the Rams 75-58 on Feb. 17.
VCU and Fordham each earned a share of the A-10 regular season title with VCU garnering the No. 1 seed. Both teams secured a first-round bye.
All first round and quarterfinal games will air live on ESPN+ with the semifinal games being televised on CBS Sports Network and the championship game on ESPNU.
