April 23, 2018 Nobody wore as many different hats than Lauren Reinshuttle did during her career at Duquesne. She came to the Bluff as a freshman guard that played 29 games in her first season. A back injury cut her playing career short, but she stayed on as a student manager, then a student assistant. After she graduated in 2011 with a degree in history, she was the team's graduate assistant for two years while she earned her master's degree in education.
Reinshuttle spent two seasons as the video coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh before beginning her teaching career in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District. While at Baldwin, she was an assistant coach for the varsity basketball team.
She returned to her home state of Virginia in 2016 to teach 9th grade ancient history at Stonewall Jackson High School. A vital member of the Raiders' staff, Reinshuttle has served as an assistant coach for both the varisty basketball and soccer teams. She will be elevated to head girls soccer coach for the 2018 season.
