The Duquesne women's tennis team improved to 11-2, 3-1 A-10 on the season after a dominating 7-0 victory over Saint Joseph's on March 16th.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Dukes won the doubles point by winning at #1 and #3. Kylie Isaacs and Julianne Herman were 6-1 winners at #1. Laurel Shymansky and Aishwarya Kona were victorious at #3 6-1.
Duquesne took all six singles points - five in straight sets. Isaacs (6-2, 6-3), Herman (6-2, 6-3), Laurel Shymansky (6-3, 6-2), Maddy Adams (6-4, 6-0), and Sara Mitrovic (6-1, 6-1). Aishwarya Kona at #5 won in a breaker (4-6, 6-1, 10-8).
