PITTSBURGH - Freshman Olivia Farwell (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown), the seven-time Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week, was named the conference's Rookie of the Year in a vote of league coaches released today at the NEC Championship in Howell, N.J.

In addition to Rookie of the Year, Farwell was also named First Team All-Conference and earned a spot on the All-Rookie Team.

Farwell is the first DU bowler to earn an NEC individual honor as well as to be named First Team All-NEC. She is also the seventh freshman in the 10-year history of NEC bowling to earn a spot on the five-woman first team. This is the second season for the Duquesne bowling program.
