PITTSBURGH - Duquesne's Olivia Farwell was named Northeast Conference Bowler of the Week for her performance in the season-opening Bud Whitman Memorial in Reading, Pa. this past weekend. Farwell, the 2017-18 Northeast Conference Rookie of the Year, began her sophomore season with a league-high 19.45 overall frame average over two day event. The Elizabethtown, Pa. native was named the Saturday MVP for her baker performance.

Farwell, a 2017-18 NTCA Honorable Mention All-American, was a seven-time NEC Rookie of the Week and one-time Bowler of the Week last season.
