MATOSINHOS, Portugal - Hungary finished fifth in the 2017 FIBA U20 European Championship. The Hungairans defeated Belgium (87-66) and Italy (78-73) en route to their finish.
In Hungary's victory over Belgium, Nina Aho scored a game-high 17 points and Eniko Kuttor added 11 points.
Against Italy, Aho scored 18 points including a pair of free throw with six seconds remaining to ice the contest.
This is the best finish for a Hungarian U20 team since they placed second in the 2006 championship.
