The Duquesne women's tennis team will advance to the quarterfinal round of the 2017 Atlantic 10 Championship after a 4-1 victory over George Mason on Wednesday afternoon.

Mason opened by winning the doubles point, with the team of Kylie Isaacs and Julianne Herman recording the lone Duquesne victory at the #1 doubles (6-2).

Isaacs (6-2, 6-0), Herman (6-1, 6-1), Aishwarya Kona (6-1, 6-2) and Laurel Shymansky (6-1, 6-3) each swept their singles matches, with Kona's win clinching the Dukes victory.

UP NEXT: The #7 seed Dukes (15-8) will play #2 Massachusetts (9-7) Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
