PHILADELPHIA - The Duquesne women's tennis team lost a hard fought match against Fordham on Friday afternoon. The match was played at a neutral site at the Springton Tennis Club in Philadelphia.

Fordham took the doubles point by winning matches at the #2 and #3 sports. Kylie Isaacs and Julianne Herman won their match at #1 Carina Ma and Estelle Wong by the score of 6-2.

In singles, Herman defeated Estelle Wong 6-2, 6-1 at the #2 sport. Aishwarya Kona was a three-set winner over Gianna Insogna 6-4, 2-6, 6-1 at #5. At #6, Laurel Shymansky bested Destiny Grunin , 6-0, 6-4.

The Dukes (11-7) return to action on Senior Day, Sunday against Saint Francis U. Festivities begin at 12:30, match starts at 1:00 PM.
