PITTSBURGH - Freshman Kelsey Hackbart and junior Cassidy Powers were both named to the Northeast Conference All-Rookie Bowling Team it was announced by the conference office over the weekend.

Hackbart, who hails from Bristol, Pa., earned NEC Rookie of the Week honors three times during the season. She capped the regular season by finishing second out of 120 bowlers at the Allentown sectional to qualify for the 2017 Intercollegiate Singles Championships April 18-19 and 22 at the Raising Cane's River Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Hackbart is one of 24 bowlers nationally who qualified out of four sectional fields.

Powers, a junior from North Tonawanda, N.Y., was late addition to the program who stepped in to earn NEC Rookie of the Week honors once during the season.
