CLASS OF 2017 TO BE HONORED
The Duquesne women's basketball class of 2017 will be honored in a pregame ceremony. Amadea Szamosi, Brianna Thomas and Erin Waskowiak are the fifth winningest class in program history. The trio has been part of 84 wins and have played in the postseason each year.

THE LAST MEETING
April Robinson led all scorers with 25 points as Duquesne extended its road winning streak to nine games after a 71-67 victory at VCU on January 31, 2016. Chassidy Omogrosso added 13 points and Kadri-Ann Lass had 12 points. Adaeze Aleaze scored a team-high 16 points, Isis Thorpe added 13 and Ashley Pegram scored 10 for the Rams.

Jan. 31, 2016 - Thorpe's 3-pointer and a pair of Aleaze free throws got the Rams within two points at 67-65 with 1:10 remaining. After the team's both committed turnovers on their next possessions, Omogrosso was fouled with 28 seconds remaining. She made both free throws to extend the lead to four points. VCU's Keira Robinson made a layup with nine second remaining to make it a 1-possession game at 69-67. The Rams fouled Duquesne's Robinson off the inbound pass, where she made both foul shots to seal the game at 71-67.
