NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- After leading Duquesne to a pair of wins last week, Amadea Szamosi was named the Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Basketball Co-Players of the Week. The awards, announced Monday, were for games played Jan. 23-29.

The senior forward averaged 20.5 points and 12.0 rebounds in Duquesne's two wins over Richmond and at George Washington. Szamosi shot 16-of-25 (.640) from the field and recorded double-doubles in both games last week with 17 points and 10 rebounds in the win over UR followed by 24 points and 14 rebounds against GW.

This is Szamosi's first Player of the Week award. She shares it with Saint Louis' Jackie Kemph.

The Dukes (12-11, 5-5 A-10) travel to Philadelphia to take on Saint Joseph's (9-12, 6-3 A-10) on Wednesday night.
