July 18, 2016 MATOSINHOS, Portgual - Duquesne sophomore guard Julijana Vojinovic represented Serbia at the 2016 FIBA U20 Women's European Championship.
Vojinovic averaged 7.9 points and 3.4 rebounds in seven games, leading the Serbians to a fourth place finish out of 16 teams.
After finishing in third place in Group B, Serbia defeated host Portugal 62-52 in the Round of 16. Vojinovic scored 14 points, pulled down seven rebounds and has a +22 efficienly in Serbia's 73-66 quarterfinal victory over France. Serbia fell to Italy 63-60 in the semifinals. In the 3rd place game, Vojinovic scored 14 points in Serbia's 78-72 loss to Russia.
Spain was crowned champion with their 71-69 win over Italy.
