Feb. 22, 1996 - Despite getting 32 points from Korie Hlede, Duquesne's last minute rally fell short as La Salle came away with a 74-72 win at the Hayman Center.

Jan. 21, 1997 - Korie Hlede became Duquesne's all-time scoring leader, but the Dukes could not catch up to La Salle who was 7-of-8 from 3-point range and converted 25 free throws in their 76-72 win at the Palumbo Center.

Jan. 16, 1998 - Duquesne shot 55 percent in the 2nd half and took the lead with 4:21 remaining to hold off La Salle 71-68 at the Hayman Center.

Feb. 15, 2004 - In a back and forth game that featured 11 ties and 25 lead changes, Candace Futrell's scored 3-pointer with 27 seconds left broke a 69-69 tie at the Palumbo Center. She forced a turnover on La Salle's next possession and added a pair of free throws to ice the game. Futrell's also became the program's 2nd all-time leading scorer.

Jan. 13, 2005 - Trailing 62-60 with 20 seconds remaining and the ball, La Salle missed two shots in their attempt to tie the game. Aiga Bautre rebounded the second miss and was fouled with 3 seconds left. Bautre made both free throws in the Dukes' 64-60 win at the Palumbo Center.

Feb. 26, 2014 - La Salle ended the game on a 17-5 run to take a 68-63 victory over Duquesne at the Palumbo Center.

SIX DEGREES OF Dan Burt
Duquesne head coach Dan Burt can be connected to La Salle head coach Jeff Williams based on the "six degrees of separation".

Burt was an assistant coach with Pat Sullivan at UNC Wilmington. Sullivan was a player under Dean Smith at North Carolina - as we George Karl. As head coach of the Denver Nuggets, Karl had Michael Cooper as an assistant coach. Cooper went on to coach USC and had Ervin Monier on staff was the associate head coach at La Salle under Jeff Williams.
