NEWPORT NEWS - For the third time this season, Duquesne has swept the Atlantic 10 weekly awards with Deva'Nyar Workman winning Player of the Week and Kadri-Ann Lass winning Rookie of the Week.

The Dukes (23-2, 11-1 A-10) won both of their game last week â€" 61-56 over Rhode Island and 73-59 against Saint Joseph's.

Workman averaged a 14.5 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game. Against URI, she recorded her ninth career double-double with game-highs of 17 points, 11 rebounds and five steals. She scored 12 points and had four assists against SJU. For the week, she shot 60 percent from the field and was 9-11 from the foul line.

This is Workman's second A-10 POW award. Earlier today, she was named the College Sports Madness A-10 Player of the Week.

Workman is 11th in the A-10 in scoring (13.9 ppg), 4th in rebounding (8.8 rpg), 9th in field goal percentage (47.4 percent), 1st in free throw percentage (85.4 percent) and 2nd 3-point field goal percentage (41.9 percent).

Lass averaged 14.0 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game. She scored 12 against Rhode Island and tied the game-high with 16 points against Saint Joseph's.

This is the fifth ROW award for Lass. This is once behind Korie Hlede and Wumi Agunbiade for most in program history.

Lass, who set a school record with eight blocks in the Dukes' game against Massachusetts earlier this season, is 3rd in the A-10 averaging 2.2 blocks per game.

The Dukes face a tough road trip when they visit Saint Louis on Thursday and Dayton on Sunday.
