Duquesne extended its school record shutout streak to seven games with yet another dramatic win, as Zach Hall found the back of the net in the 95th minute to give the Dukes a 1-0 win over George Washington. Hall ran under a lofted pass from Fredrik Borenstein deep in the box and put it by Thor Arne Hofs for DU's sixth-straight win over the Colonials on Rooney Field. The goal was Duquesne's first since the 59th minute of its 1-0 win over Robert Morris on Sept. 23 - ending a three-game scoreless streak. Evan Kozlowski, who has been in net for all seven shutouts was credited with three saves for the Dukes. George Washington had the best scoring opportunity in the first half, when Garrett Heine broke free and came in on Kozlowski from the right side in the 19th minute. Heine launched a shot from 10 yards out that the DU keeper knocked away while diving to his right. Heine's shot was the lone attempt for the Colonials in the first half. DU had eight shots, including two on goal, in the opening 45 minutes. Duquesne outshot George Washington 15-5, including 5-3 on goal. DU finished with three more corner kicks than GW. The last team to score on the Dukes was Wofford in the 58th minute on Sept. 9. The Dukes are now 5-0-1 at home with four late-game wins: a goal in the 100th minute to defeat Saint Francis (2-1), two goals in the final 5:04, including the game-winner by Borenstein in the 89th minute vs. Wofford (2-1) and an Austin Stout goal with five seconds left in the first overtime to defeat Canisius (1-0).

"We're in the bend but don't break model-we know that we're going to be in the game for 90 plus minutes, and we have to fight for the entirety of the game. Other teams are going to get their chances, and we know that's fine because we're going to be right there, and do what we need to do. Tonight was a great team performance, our guys battled hard and we got the one that we needed."
