QUICK RECAP: Cincinnati's Danielle Rotheram scored all three of the Bearcats' goals in the 2nd half to lead UC to a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over the Duquesne women's soccer team on Sunday afternoon at Rooney Field.
The Dukes got on the board early when Katie O'Connor's breakaway on the left side set up Linnea Faccenda's first goal of the season in the 6th minute. The Dukes offense kept the momentum as O'Connor scored five minutes later, beating starting UC keeper Natalie Smith on the right side.
Duquesne would take the 2-0 lead into halftime.
Cincinnati would be held scoreless until Rotheram's header got past Dukes' keeper Kyra Murphy in the 51st minute. Rotheram would find the back of the net two more times -- including the game winner in the 79th minute.
UP NEXT: The Dukes travel to Michigan to take on Oakland on Sept 20th.
