This is the eighth profile in the series of the eight new Duquesne women's basketball players that will be joining the roster for the 2015-16 season. Today, Judith Sole will be profiled.

Solé comes to the Bluff after transferring from Robert Morris in April. She will have two years of eligibility with Duquesne beginning in 2016-17 season after she sits out the 2015-16 season due to NCAA transfer rules.

Solé, who hails from Igualada, Spain (45 miles/72 km northwest of Barcelona), played in 31 games as a sophomore last season for RMU making 22 starts. She averaged 6.0 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. She recorded seven double-doubles and two 20-point games. She set career-highs of 23 points and 17 rebounds against Duquesne at the Sewall Center on Dec. 14, 2014. The 6-3 center played in 14 games her freshman season with the Colonials.

Solé has a plethora of international experience. Earlier this week, she was on the Spain team that went 9-0 and crowned champions of the 2015 FIBA U20 European Women's Championship in Teguise, Spain.

She led Spain to the gold medal at the 2013 U18 European Championship in Vinkovci, Croatia after a 9-0 record.

In 2011, she led Spain to a 9-0 record and a gold medal of the 2011 U16 European Championship in Cagliari, Italy.

In the 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship for Women in Pilsen, Czech Republic, Spain fell to the United States 77-75 in the gold medal game, finishing the tournament 6-1.

At the club level, Solé played on Segle XXI of the Spanish LF-2 League. In her final season (2012-13) she averaged 7.3 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. Segle finished in 6th place in the 13-team league.
