PITTSBURGH - Marcus Posley scored a career-high 36 points - including a game-tying 3-pointer with six seconds left to force overtime - in leading St. Bonaventure to a 100-97 come-from-behind win over Duquesne at Palumbo Center.

The Bonnies, down 12 with 3:07 left, closed regulation with a 14-2 run, with Posley hitting three 3-pointers and converting a three-point play in a 2:29 span to nearly single-handedly bring SBU back.

Jaylen Adams, who finished with a Palumbo Center record 14 assists, scored six of St. Bonaventure's 10 points in overtime, including a jumper in the lane with 20 seconds left that gave the Bonnies the lead for good.

Micah Mason dribbled by SBU's 7-foot center Youssou Ndoye on the baseline but his reverse layup, with Ndoye in close pursuit, hit the bottom of the rim.

Adams was quickly fouled and hit two free throws with eight seconds left.

Jordan Stevens' contested 3-point attempt from the top of the key hit the back iron and bounced into the lane as the final horn sounded.

Mason and Derrick Colter led six Dukes in double figures with 18 and 17 points respectively. L.G. Gill, TySean Powell and Stevens came off the bench to add 13 points each for DU.

Ndoye - who didn't record his first field goal until the 18:51 mark of the second half - finished with 20 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks.

Duquesne closed the first half on a 26-10 run - fueled by two 3-pointers from Gill and six points from Dominique McKoy - to take a 51-39 lead. The Dukes held the Bonnies to four free throws - and no field goals - for over six minutes during the run.

The DU lead, which reached 15 with 15:16 left, never dipped below eight until Posley's three-point play with 2:01 left.

Posley's 36 points - which tied the second-most by an opposing player at Palumbo Center - were the most scored in the building since George Washington's SirValiant Brown scored 36 on Feb. 2, 2000.

Both teams were outstanding from the 3-point arc with Duquesne hitting 14-of-28 and St. Bonaventure, behind Posley's 8-of-11, finishing 12-of-23.

DU, which had two more field goals than the Bonnies, was outscored 20-11 from the foul line where it was 11-of-22.

Duquesne continues a stretch of three games in seven days when it heads to Washington, D.C. to face George Washington on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (Atlantic 10 Digital Network).
