QUICK RECAP: Alan Reiter scored on a penalty kick in the 72nd minute to give Davidson a 1-0 home win over Duquesne at Alumni Stadium. It was the fourth home shutout for the Wildcats who remained undefeated at home at 4-0-3. The loss dropped the Dukes to 2-3-0 in Atlantic 10 play. All three conference losses have come by 1-0 scores. Duquesne outshot the Wildcats 14-9, but could not get one by Davidson keeper Matt Pacifici who finished with three saves. Sam Frymier stopped three shots in a losing effort. The game-winner was the sixth of the season for Reiter, who entered the weekend ranked seventh nationally in game-winning goals. Chris Alescio led the Dukes with four shots. Alescio, Thomas de Villardi and Kadeem Pantophlet had DU's three shots on goal. Davidson had five corner kicks to four for Duquesne.
