Agunbiade Represents Canada on Senior National Team

Duquesne forward Wumi Agunbiade recently played five games overseas as part of the Canadian Senior National Team.

The 2011 Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year and 2012 Second-Team All-Conference selection was just one of 14 players chosen for the team which includes five other NCAA student-athletes - Kayla Alexander/Syracuse, Megan Lukan/Green Bay, Katherine Plouffe/Marquette, Karly Roser/Northwestern and Taryn Wicijowski/Utah.

Overall, Canada finished 1-3-1. They dropped both games against Montenegro before splitting all three games against Belgium. The first game ended in regulation with overtime played.

The games were highlighted by a team-high 14 point performance by Agunbiade in Canada's 63-52 loss to Montenegro.
