DAYTON - The Duquesne volleyball (19-10, 6-5 A-10) team fell to #15 Dayton (19-4, 11-0 A-10) on Saturday evening 3-0 at the Frericks Center. The set scores were 25-18, 25-17, 25-21.
Nora Young led the Dukes with 10 kills. Mary Henry recorded 31 assists and Patti Abshire 15 digs. With her eight kills, Allison Foschia surpassed the 1,000 career kill mark. She now has 1,006.
Duquesne returns to the Palumbo Center this upcoming weekend for matches against Rhode Island on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and Fordham Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
