She also collected a pair of blocks Friday night. Searles followed with 16 kills and eight digs while adding two blocks in a 3-2 comeback victory over the Billikens on Saturday afternoon.
Searles continues to make an impact during her first season on the Bluff, ranking second in the A10 with a .338 hitting percentage. She also ranks third in the conference with 3.82 kills per set and 4.39 points per set. The freshman right side has totaled 246.0 points this season, good for fourth in the league, while her 214 kills rank fifth.
The honor marks the fourth time Searles has earned the award this season, making her just the fourth player in program history to earn A10 Rookie of the Week honors at least four times during her career.
