Box Score

Duquesne's men's soccer team dropped its fifth straight contest with a 3-2 loss Thursday afternoon at Robert Morris.

Robert Morris scored first with a goal in the 23rd minute to take a 1-0 halftime lead. DU knotted the score in the 47th minute as Nathan McCann scored off a corner kick. The corner went to Adam Clement who flicked it to the far post where McCann was located to tap it in.

However, RMU scored the next two goals in the 63rd and 85th minutes before Simon Gomez scored off a Julio Perez assist in the 86th minute to end the game's scoring. Gomez headed in his team-leading fourth goal off a short cross to the middle of the box by Lopez.

The Dukes outshot the Colonials 16-6, led by sevn shots by Gomez and five by Joshua Patterson.

The Red and Blue return to action on Sunday, Sept. 25 as they host Buffalo at 1:00 pm on Rooney Field.
