PITTSBURGH - Duquesne senior guard Alex Gensler was named Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week after her career-high 33-point performance in the Dukes' 74-70 victory at Saint Francis, Pa. on Friday night.

Gensler, who also set a school record with eight 3-pointers against the Red Flash, earns her first player of the week award.

Additionally, Gensler was also recognized by ESPN's Graham Hays as the "Best Individual Weekend Performance" and by Pickin' Splinters as the "A-10 Performance of the Week".

The Dukes open up the home schedule tonight against Buffalo. Tipoff is at 7:00 p.m.
