Duquesne's baseball team dropped a Monday morning decision to Villanova in Florida, 9-6. Andrew Heck doubled twice, scored twice and drove in a run.

Also swinging hot bats were Rick Devereaux who was 3-5 with two runs scored and two RBI, Mark Tracy who went 2-4 with an RBI and Anthony DeFabio who was 1-4 with two runs driven in and a stolen base.

Freshman Robert Corsi tossed 2 2/3 of scoreless relief, striking out three.

The Dukes return to action Tuesday afternoon as they travel to Central Florida for a 4:00 pm contest.
