The Duquesne University men's soccer team fell to 1-2 on the season with a 2-0 loss at St. Francis (Pa.) Monday afternoon.
The Red and Blue, who outshot the host Red Flash, 14-11, yielded one goal each half, both on headers. Ben Horner led the Dukes with three shots while Joshua Patterson put both of his shots on goal.
The Dukes return to action on Friday, Sept. 11 as they host the two-day Duquesne Invitational. Richmond and Bowling Green will play at 5:00 pm while DU will square off with Manhattan at 7:30. On Saturday, Richmond and Manhattan will play at 5:00 pm while Duquesne and Bowling Green will meet at 7:30.
