A blurb at the end of a Sept. 4 Detroit Free Press article mentioned that Detroit Tigers manager Jim Leyland and star infielder Miguel Cabrera have recently been seen wearing Duquesne baseball t-shirts around the clubhouse.

On a side note, the piece mentions that Josh Wilson is a pitcher. He is actually an infielder, but he has made three career pitching appearances, including two this season.

Prior to the Sept. 4 games, the Tigers had a five game lead over Minnesota in the American League Central.
