Box Score

Duquesne's baseball team belted out a season-high 18 hits, but it was not enough to overcome Dayton's 19 hits as the Red and Blue fell to the visting Flyers, 13-10 Sunday afternoon at Duquesne Field.

Brian Bernardo was 3-4 with three runs scored and an RBI while Rick Devereaux was 3-6 with two runs scored and two RBI. Mike Carroll and Bill Torre each added two hits and two RBI while Andrew Heck, Mark Tracy and Derrik Zeroski all had two hits.

The Dukes will wrap up the home portion of thie schedule on Monday as they host the Flyers in game three of the series. The game time has been moved up three hours to 12:00 pm to avoid the forecasted late afternoon rain.
