Slippery Rock Invitational Results
Bison Outdoor Classic Results

The Duquesne women's track and field team competed in a pair of the events over the weekend - the Slippery Rock Invitational and the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic.

At the Slippery Rock Invitational, Daniela Siciliano took second in the pole vault with a jump of 11-3.75. Arin Whitman had another successful day as she had two first places finishes - discus (114-1) and hammer (145-10) and was third in the shot put (36-3.5).

At the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic in Lewisburg, Pa., Samantha Howard's time of 36.17 in the 10000m was good for second place.

Melissa Miller had a pair of fourth place finishes in the 200m (24.61) and 400m (57.57).

Sierra Larsuel also finished in fourth place with a distance of 18-3.25 in the long jump.

Sara Cimino crossed fifth in the 5000m with a time of 17:49.85.

The 4x400 team of Miller, Kathleen Parker, Megan Wendelken and Charlene Garth was fifth finishing in 3:59.11.

The team returns to Lewisburg this weekend for the Bucknell Outdoor Team Challenge on April 18.
