Box Score

Mark Tracy's two-run single capped a five-run, fifth inning, but it wasn't enough as the Dukes surrendered two runs in the bottom of the fifth and one more in the eighth as West Virginia handed the Red and Blue an 8-5 loss in Morgantown.

Tracy's hit was one of just five in the game for the Dukes who have opened the season 0-12. WVU improved to 8-4.

Andrew Heck tossed 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.

Duquesne will return to action this weekend with a four-game series at Ohio University. Game one will be played on Friday at 4:00 pm.
