Duquesne's baseball team dropped the first of two spring break games with Rhode Island, 10-6 Saturday afternoon in Winter Haven, Fla.

Freshman Rick Devereaux went 2-3 with a walk and three RBI to lead the Red and Blue. Five other Dukes had hits as well with senior Mike Carroll and sophomore Chris Happ driving in runs as well. Junior Lawrence Anderson tossed 2 1/3 scoreless innings of relief, striking out two.

The Dukes and Rams will meet again Sunday at 3:00 pm.
