PENN LATELY: Lost both games this season ... 56-42 at Drexel ... 44-28 at Villanova ... leading scorer is Jen Smith (10.5 ppg) ... led by first-year head coach Mike McLaughlin who was hired on on April 24, 2009 ... McLaughlin came to Penn from Division II school Holy Family where he had a record of 407-61 in 14 season ... return three starters from last season's 9-19 team.

DUQUESNE LATELY: Off to their second consecutive 3-0 start ... coming off a a 88-63 win over Mount St. Mary's in the home opener ... led by Alex Gensler (18.7 ppg) who has eclipsed career-highs in scoring in each of DU's games this season ... Gensler scored 21 points including six 3-pointers against MSM ... Rachel Frederick (12.0 ppg), Samantha Pollino (11.0 ppg) Keri Pryor (11.0 ppg) and Jaclyn Babe (3.6 apg) round out the starting lineup ... Kelly Britcher (10.7 ppg) has made 12-of-16 (.750) shots this season coming off the bench.

AGAINST THE IVY LEAGUE: Duquesne has faired well against teams from the Ivy League. DU is 10-1 alltime including a win over Cornell earlier this season.

LAST TIME AGAINST PENN: The Duquesne women's basketball team exploded for 52 second half points to remain undefeated this season with their 78-45 victory over Penn Nov. 22, 2008 at the Palumbo Center. Four Dukes scored in double-fi gures, led by Amanda Peck who scored a team-best 15 points in just 13 minutes. Eve Pyle grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds and Babe had a game-high seven assists ... Diana Voynova pulled down a game-best seven rebounds versus the Mountaineers.

DUQUESNE AND QUAKERS: The Dukes have won both meetings against the Quakers.

PHINE AGAINST PHILLY: Duquesne has won their last five games against schools from Philadelphia dating back to the 2007-08 season. The Dukes have a pair of wins against La Salle and one each over Temple, Saint Joseph's and Penn. Last season was the fi rst time in school history the Dukes recorded a "Philly sweep".

LOOKING AHEAD: The Dukes return home to face West Virginia on Tues. Nov. 24. Tipoff is at 7:00 p.m.
