Duqesne's soccer team played a rare Friday afternoon contest at Massachusetts and lost to the host Minutemen, 2-1. The Red and Blue fall to 3-3-1 in Atlantic 10 play while UMass improved to 3-3-0.

The Dukes fell behind early as UMass scored in the 14th minute to take a 1-0 lead. That score remained until the 75th minute when senior Alex Trujillo took a pass from junior Ben Horner and buried it in the net to tie the contest. The Minutemen responded however in the 88th minute with another goal for the final count.

The Red and Blue will regroup as they head to Rhode Island for a 1:30 match on Sunday.
