Duquesne's men's soccer team captured its second Atlantic 10 win of the season with a 4-0 blanking of Saint Joseph's in Philadelphia.
Four different Dukes scored as sophomore Derek Parizio scored the game-winner in the first half and freshman Joshua Patterson, freshman Brendan Duffy and sophomore Jared Gentile scored in the second frame.
Patrizio scored just 11 minutes in as he buried a shot from 25 yards out. Patterson tallied his team-leading fifth goal of the season in the 48th minute as he beat the SJU goalie on a break-away to make it, 2-0.
The 2-0 score held until the 83rd minute when Duffy scored off a sophomore Jared Gentile corner kick for a 3-0 lead and Gentile finished the scoring in the 89th minute off of freshman Nathan McCann's assist for the final score.
Junior Chris Torres played the complete game in goal, making one save for his second shutout of the season.
The Dukes return to action on Sunday, Oct. 25 as they face Temple at 2:30 pm.
