Duquesne's soccer team captured its first Atlantic 10 victory of the season with a 1-0, double-overtime victory over Xavier Friday evening at Rooney Field.

Senior Alex Trujillo drilled a direct free kick of an XU defender and into the net in the 102nd minute to secure the victory. Trujillo pressured the Musketeers all evening with a game-high four shots on goal. Junior Ben Horner and sophomore Tyler Tompkins fired shots with a total of three being on goal as the Red and Blue outshot their guest, 22-10.

The Dukes return to action on Sunday, Oct. 18 as they host defending Atlantic 10 champion Dayton at noon on Rooney Field.
