Box Score

BALTIMORE - The Duquesne volleyball continued their winning ways Saturday afternoon as they won their sixth matching in a row defeating Maryland Eastern Shore 3-1.

Tricia Mullen had another spectacular match with a game-high 17 kills while hitting .485. Jessica Artman added 16 kills and Amy Palko's 17 digs was match-best. Chelsea Tillotson's 54 assists was just three shot of her career-high.

DU and UMES split the first two sets. Britany Poling's kill gave Duquesne an early lead in the third set and the Dukes never looked back taking the match lead after the 25-17 set victory.

The fourth set started off the same as the third set - a kill by Poling broke an early tie and gave Duquesne a lead they did not rescind. After the 25-20 set win, the Dukes took the match 3-1.

The UMBC Tournament continues late Saturday afternoon, as the Dukes play the host team at 5:00 p.m.
