After winning the opening game of the season, Duquesne's men's soccer team has played to three straight ties to move its record to 1-0-3. On Saturday evening, the Dukes played to a 0-0 tie with visiting St. Francis.
Duquesne outshot the visiting Red Flash, 19-10, including a 3-1 advantage in overtime. Sophomore Stefan Lundberg led the Red and Blue with five shots while senior Bryan Matthews fired three times.
Sophomore keeper Chris Torres notched his third shutout of the campaign.
The Dukes return to action on Friday, Sept. 12 as they play host to the three-day Duquesne University Tournament. At 5:00 pm Richmond and Lafayette will face off followed by Duquesne versus Marshall at 7:30.
