Box Score

Duquesne's baseball team played the first of two games in nine days with cross-town foe Pitt Tuesday afternoon and lost to the hosting Panhters in a see-saw game, 9-8 at Trees Field in Oakland.

Mike Carroll went 3-3 with an RBI and three runs scored for the Dukes while Derek Fallecker went 2-3 with a homer and three RBI.

The Dukes return to action on Wednesday as they travel to Kent for a 3:00 first pitch.
