Box Score

Duquesne's baseball team lost a slugfest at Kent State Wednesday afternoon, 18-10. Dante Plassio and Bill Torre each went 2-4 with three RBI while Mike Carroll went 2-4 with three runs scored.

Derek Mechling opened the contest with a solo home run as the Red and Blue jumped to a 2-0 first inning lead, but the Flash scored six in the bottom of the first and never looked back.

Aaron Janusey also homered for the Dukes while Mark Tracy added two hits, a run and an RBI.

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, April 11 as they host La Salle in game one of a three-game Atlantic 10 series at 3:00 pm at Duquesne Field.
