Box Score

Duquesne's baseball team traveled to bayou country Friday morning and lost to host Louisiana State Friday evening, 10-1 at Alex Box Stadium.

Senior catcher Dante Plassio went 1-1 with a walk and scored the Dukes' lone run while junior Bill Torre and sophomore Derek Fallecker had the only other DU hits. Junior Ryan Juran suffered the loss on the mound.

The Dukes fell to 0-4 on the season while the Tigers improved to 5-1.

Game two of the three-game series will be played Saturday at 3:00 pm EST.
