UNIVERSITY PARK - The Duquesne women's track and field team participated in four events at the Penn State Nationals this weekend.
Kathleen Parker took 14th place in the 500 meter dash crossing in 1:18.66. Sara Cimino's time of 10:22.65 in the 3000 meter run placed her fourth in a field of eight runners.
The 4x400 team of Melissa Miller, Parker, Charlene Garth and Erica Moody finished in 3:54.44, ninth place, while the DMR squad of Katie Kelly, Miller, Parker and Emily Beahan placed seventh after their time of 12:15.33.
The Dukes will have back-to-back trips to Akron, Ohio as they will compete in the Arkon Open Feb. 2 and the RooTown Open Feb. 8. a
