The Duquesne University baseball team used a four-run second inning and a six-run sixth inning to power their way to a 15-6 Atlantic 10 victory over visiting Temple, Friday afternoon at Duquesne Field.

Junior Aaron Janusey (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) was 3-5 with a home run and five RBI while fellow junior Pat Kimutis (Washington, Pa./Trinity) was 2-3 with a home run and four RBI. Senior Corey Bugno (Dalton, Pa./Abington Heights) also drove in two runs for the Red and Blue.

Sophomore Gary Pierpont (Canonsburg, Pa./Canon McMillan) captured his third win of the season, hurling seven innings, allowing four runs while striking out three and walking none.

Game two of the three-game set will be played Saturday at 1:00 pm.
