PITTSBURGH - Lauren Reinshuttle led five Duquesne players in double figures with 16 points, but it was not enough as the Dukes fell 88-78 to Team Reebok in an exhibition Friday night.
Jade Singleton (13 points and 10 rebounds) and Kristi Little (12 points and 10 assists) had a double-doubles for the Dukes who took a lead as large as 14 with 4:16 to go in the first half after a 24-0 run.
Sidney Spencer had 18 points for Team Reebok, a squad comprised of former college players.
With the score tied at 69-69 in the second half, Team Reebok built a six point lead 81-75 after Spencer hit a 3-pointer.
Singleton's layup after Little made one of two from line got the Dukes got within three points at 81-78 with 1:34 remaining in the game, but it was the last bucket for DU as another Spencer three pointer and four foul shots by Katie Alsdurf gave Team Reebok an 88-78 victory.
Kelly Britcher (13 points) and Keri Pryor (11 points) were the Dukes' other double-digit scorers. Reinshuttle connected on four of eight beyond the arc accounting for 12 of her 16 points.
Team Reebok held a slight margin in rebound, 39-37.
Duquesne has their season opener in eight days. The Dukes will be at Morehead State on Nov. 10.
