The Duquesne soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to St. Bonaventure Saturday evening on Rooney Field.

After a scoreless first half, things became quite heated in a contest which featured 30 fouls, seven yellow cards and three red cards. The Bonnies managed to find the back of the net though in the 55th minute and held off a Duquesne surge for the win.

The Dukes outshot the Bonnies, 13-8 led by senior Travis MacKenzie's six scoring attempts.

The Red and Blue return to action on Firday as they travel to La Salle for a 7:30 pm kick-off.
