Duquesne University women's basketball senior forward Loui Hall (Masontown, Pa./ Albert Gallatin) received Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week honors for her performances in the Dukes' home victory over St. Louis and road loss to Charlotte in the past week. On the week, Hall averaged 20.0 points and 10.5 rebounds, and was 24 of 35 (69%) from the field. The award is the first of the season for Duquesne women's basketball.
Against St. Louis, Hall's fourth double-double of the season contributed to the Dukes' 78-70 victory. She shot .700 (7-10) from the field and was 5-6 from the line. She led the Dukes in rebounding, with a team-high 12 rebounds and added 19 points. At Charlotte, Hall was 10-15 from the field (.667) and scored a game-best 21 points while adding nine rebounds.
Currently Hall leads the Dukes, 7-10 overall and 2-2 in Atlantic 10 Conference play, with 235 points and 120 rebounds, averaging 13.9 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Among Atlantic 10 Conference leaders, Hall is thirteenth in scoring, and twelfth in rebounds and field goal percentage.
This week the Dukes will face Atlantic 10 opponents Xavier (1/26) and Dayton (1/28) on the road.
