Pittsburgh, Pa. - Duquesne University's men's soccer team recorded their second straight Atlantic 10 shutout, this time a 1-0 win over St. Bonaventure on a near-perfect Sunday fall afternoon at Rooney Field.

Freshman Alex Trujillo (Whitby, Ontario / Father Leo J. Austin) scored the lone goal in the 14th minute of the game, assisted by senior Tom Sochacki (Whitby, Ontario / Father Leo J. Austin). The frosh is second on the team with four goals.

Senior Zach Varga (Mountville, PA / Hempfield) recorded his fourth shutout, and 27th of his career, with four saves.

DU outshot the Bonnies 16-11. SBU's Ken Lish also had four saves. The Dukes are now 2-1-0 in A-10 play and 7-4-1 overall. The Bonnnies (0-10-1, 0-2-1) are still looking for their first 2006 win.

Duquesne hosts the league's Ohio teams this weekend, taking on Dayton at 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2006, and Xavier at 1:00 p.m. Sunday.
