Duquesne head baseball coach Mike Wilson today released the 2007 schedule. The Dukes will open the season on Friday, Feb. 23 with a three-game series at first-time opponent Georgia Tech. The following weekend the Red and Blue will head to Clearwater, FL for their 10-day spring break trip.

DU will also make a weekend trip to play Navy March 17-18 and travel to Kent State for a mid-week game on March 21 before opening Atlantic 10 play at La Salle on Friday, March 23. The Dukes open their home slate on Tuesday, March 27 vs Niagara and host their first A-10 foe, Rhode Island, on March 30.

The Red and Blue will face traditional local opponents, Pitt, West Virginia, Penn State, Akron, Ohio, Cleveland State and Youngstown State in non-conference action and will take on Fordham, Xavier, Richmond, Saint Joseph's, St. Bonaventure, Temple and George Washington in Atlantic 10 play.

The season culminates at the Atlantic 10 Championship May 23-26 at a site to be determined.
