Dukes Snap Losing Streak with 86-82 Win at Bona

St. Bonaventure, N.Y. - (AP) - Duquesne (3-15, 1-6 Atlantic 10) ended its nine-game losing streak Saturday with an 86-82 victory over St. Bonaventure in Atlantic 10 play.

The Bonnies cut the lead to 82-80 on Michael Lee's layup with 1:50 left. Bryant McAllister and Ronnie Thomas each made two free throws for the Dukes in the final half-minute for the win.

St. Bonaventure (6-12, 0-7) lost its eighth straight game.

The Bonnies made an early second-half comeback with a 17-3 run and took a 60-59 lead with 12:16 left. A 10-2 Duquesne run put the Dukes back on top, 74-69.

McAllister led the Dukes with 25 points. Keith Gayden scored 18, Aaron Jackson had 13 and DeVario Hudson added 12.

Ahmad Smith had a double-double of 27 points and 12 rebounds for the Bonnies. Tyler Relph added 12 points, Isaiah Carson and Michael Lee had 11 and Paul Williams finished with 10.
