Athletics Department Hires Marketing Coordinator

Jan. 13, 2006

Duquesne University Director of Athletics Greg Amodio announced today that Mark Geller has been hired as coordinator of marketing and promotions.

Geller, a 2004 graduate of Bowling Green, comes to Duquesne after spending the last two years as a marketing assistant at the University of Dayton.

"Mark's addition will be a tremendous asset to the department as we continue to move forward," said Amodio. "Having worked at Dayton, Mark is familiar with the Atlantic 10 Conference. He also brings fresh ideas and an outlook that will benefit Duquesne Athletics."

A native of Lansing, Mich., Geller worked closely with the marketing efforts for men's and women's basketball, football and men's and women's soccer while at Dayton.

The 24-year-old Geller, who completed his undergraduate degree in education with a focus in sports administration, is currently working toward his master's in public administration.
