The Coaches: Dan Durkin is in his 13th season at the helm of the Duquesne women's basketball program and as a head coach. He posts a 160-185 career mark. Durkin is a 1975 graduate of Mount St. Mary's. Mary Taylor Cowles is in her fifth season with Western Kentucky and as a head coach. She is 71-35 with the Lady Toppers/overall and is a 1992 graduate of Western Kentucky. Lynn Bria enters her seventh year at the Ohio helm and the 13th as a head coach. She owns a 71-110 mark with the Bobcats and is 147-200 on her career. Bria is a 1990 graduate of Charleston.

The Series: Western Kentucky holds a perfect 4-0 mark vs. the Dukes, whom they first met back in the 1985 season. They met last year with the Lady Toppers taking an 86-68 margin at the Palumbo Center. Duquesne leads 3-2 in the all-time series with Ohio with the first meeting taking place in the 1988 season. The squads met last year at the Palumbo Center with the Dukes taking an 88-80 edge.

Noting the Dukes: Duquesne improved to 4-5 overall after taking a 63-47 decision over visiting Robert Morris ... the Dukes are 3-2 when playing at the Palumbo Center this season and are 1-3 on the road ... two Dukes average double figure scoring in Aiga Bautre (16.3) and Loui Hall (12.3) ... Porter-Talbert has a team-best 9.3 rpg average ... Western Kentucky opened the season on a six-game winning streak ... Kelly is fourth in the NCAA with her .667 field-goal percentage and 10th with 21.3 ppg ... as a team, the Lady Toppers are 11th in win pct. A Look at Ohio: The Bobcats are 3-7 overall entering the week and last took a 76-64 win at Cleveland State Dec. 22 ... they have won two of their last five contests ... three Bobcats average double-figure scoring in Simone Redd (14.3); Rachel Frederick (13.9) and Lauren Revesz (10.0) ... Frederick has a team-high 6.8 rpg ... Katie Reihmann is third in the NCAA with her .564 three-point FG pct. ... the Bobcats are ranked 24th in free throw pct.
